Our day started at 4am and we were on the road by 5! We avoided big cities and missed beach traffic until we got here. I'd call that a successful trip to the beach! The past 2 years we had been stuck in awful traffic for hours so this was awesome!
The girls spent some time in our pool and then we went for a walk on the beach. They like it better than they did last year, but Elizabeth is still hesitant about the whole water thing. She was NOT happy when the water came up and covered her feet. Right now the fireworks are blasting everywhere around us. Happy 4th of July!
