The bat that bit Elizabeth (and maybe Isabel) was tested and it did not have rabies! Thank God is all I can say. I don't understand why the bat was out in the daytime in the girls bedroom, but Patrick called the lab to ask about the accuracy of the test. They said that they have never been wrong and that it just must've been a young bat. What a relief! I can't remember being that scared since the day I delivered the girls! We're not sure about the shots for the girls...they told us there was no reason to continue (they have several more shots to finish the rabies series) them but Patrick is going to go in and talk to the doctor tomorrow to double check.
