Ready for Turkey Day

Isabel has discovered that if she puts her fingers together like in this picture that it creates a triangle! She will run through the apartment yelling about her triangle. It is very cute and very smart.

I am stoked for Thanksgiving...especially the sweet potato casserole I'm making. It is so yummy! The topping is brown sugar and chopped pecans. I can hardly wait! It's going to be hard for me though because I'm away from my parents and sisters this year. I'm glad that we made the move down here but at the same time I really miss them (I'm tearing up! Aack!).

We went shopping today for some ingredients for tomorrow and I had not seen the craziness that is Walmart the day before Thanksgiving before. Let me tell you what, that place is so crowded full of cranky people. I don't think I'm going to leave my apartment on Friday - I'll do my shopping online!
